How to clean the drains
Once the problem is identified then comes the probable solution for the same. These solutions may be for short term but can act as the first aid before you need to get the expert.
1: Use boiling water.
This is the most easiest way to clean the drain. whenever you get the boiling water after use in kitchen you can use the same in drain pipes. For the blocked drains you can try three hot pours by leaving few minute gaps between the pours. Use a plenty of hot water for the same.
2 Use caustic soda or ready to use drain cleaning agents from market:
Mix 3 cups of soda to 2 litres of water to drain it down the pipe. This will take some time to boil and fizz within the pipe. You may see some blockage moving back the drain but need not to worry. Once done, pour plenty of hot water to drain it down.
3 Use plunger
You can use the plunger to push the water down the pipes. put the plunger on the drain hole and create a seal to avoid the air flow. and push it multiple times till you see the water moving down with a gush. Use hot water to drain once it is done.You may have to use this process multiple times.
